With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sadler Creighton Overton (Brentwood, Tennessee), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 26, 2025 at the age of 20. Though Sadler Creighton may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Sadler Creighton touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Randy Overton and Rachel Overton; his children, Sutton, Sadie, Simms and Sully; and also Sydney.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Brentwood Baptist Church (7777 Concord Rd, Brentwood, TN 37027). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Leipers Fork Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
