She was predeceased by: her parents, John Stine and Estelle Johnson Stine Freeman; her stepfather Wallace Freeman; her siblings, John Haden Stine and Revonda Dunn; her sisters-in-law, Betty Olaughlin and Dorthy Harrison (Dot); and her mother-in-law Margaret Gent.

She is survived by: her husband Jerry; her son Roger (Melissa); her grandson Levi (Michelle); her stepsiblings, Kathy Allison and Roger Freeman; and her brothers-in-law, Frank Harrison and Herbie Dunn. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Bristol Virginia Children's Advocacy Center of Highlands community Services.
