Ray Richard Sherfey Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ray Richard Sherfey (Bristol, Tennessee), who passed away on March 10, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry and Josie Sherfey. He is survived by: his wife Kathern Lane Sherfey; his children, Angie Price (Brian), Pamela Denton (Lonnie), Greta Seagroves (Ronnie), Richard Sherfey and Tonya Rutter (Donny); his siblings, Rev. Charles Sherfey and Jo Lindamood Hickok; and his grandsons, Jeremy (Justin Taylor), Elijah, Bradley, Joshua (Bryson Denton) and Ryan (Devin Rutter). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Chinquapin Grove Baptist Church, 1727 Chinquapen Grove Rd., Bluff City, TN 37618 in remembrance of Ray Sherfey.
