He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Houston Sills and Rosamond Hendrix Sills; his wife Irene Lesley Sills; his brothers, James Sills, Eugene Sills and David Sills; and his great grandchild Oakley Sills.

He is survived by: his children, Larry Wayne Sills (Angela R.) of Forest, MS, Jerry Lynn Sills of Brownsville, TN, Brenda Gail Sills Hendrix and Norma Jean Perry; and his siblings, Bobby Sills (Betty) of Brownsville, TN, Doris Rankin of Brownsville, TN, Martha Sills and Jeanett Bogan of Brownsville, TN. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
