She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Edward Lackey and Lola Welch Lackey; her husband Roy Casteele; her sons, Eddie and Freddie Casteele; and her siblings, James Lackey, Ellis, Betty Martin, Wanda Payne and Virginia Riggs.
She is survived by : her children, Tim Casteele of Martinsburg, WV, Steven Casteele (Chris) of Seattle, WA, Ann Brown (Bo) of Houston, TX and Susan Bostic (Mike) of Brownsville, TN. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
