It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Gwyen Reece (Brownsville, Tennessee), born in Maury City, Tennessee, who passed away on September 29, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Ann Reece; his parents, Jack Reece and Edna Burns Reece; his son Jesse Golden; and his siblings, Billy Joe Reece, Bobby Jack Reece, Eula Mae Lewis, Olene White, Virginia Smith and Louise Matthis.
He is survived by: his brother Wayne Reece (Edith) of Dixon, IL; and his friend Johnny Hendrix. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
