He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Rozell and Mary Leslie Curlin Lea; his wife Betty Jean Underwood Lea; and his son William Russell Lea. He is survived by: his son Steven Curlin Lea (Lisa) of Jackson, TN; his grandsons, Elliot Russell Lea (Amber) of San Antonio, TX and William Austin Lea of Chattanooga, TN; and his great grandchildren, Tatum Avery Lea and Camryn Elliot Lea. He is also survived by his family, friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home (1280 S Dupree St, Brownsville, TN 38012). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Chestnut Grove Cemetery (1097 Chestnut Grove Rd, Brownsville, TN 38012).
