She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph David Cole and Eva Marion Cole (Murphy); her husband Gordon Browning "Brownie" Grooms; and her sisters, Edna Hudson, Opal Lewis, Robbie Williams and Bessie Clark.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Davis (Bobby) of Jackson and Brenda Gregg (Frank) of Huntingdon; her granddaughters, Kristi Collins (Jimmy) of Jackson and Amy Smith (Chad) of Henderson; and her great grandchildren, Hunter Collins, Hannah Cotner (Christian), Lucas Smith and Molly Smith.
