He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva C. Palmer and Bernadine Madden Palmer; his brother-in-law Tony Lisy; and his grandson William Lee Swinford. He is survived by: his wife Sharlene Larsen Palmer; his children, Sharon Palmer of Joliet, IL, Charles Palmer (Susan) of Miracle, KY and Robert Palmer (Lois) of Buchanan, TN; his siblings, Barbara Lisy of Joliet, IL and Donald Palmer (Dianna) of Scottsdale, AZ; his sister-in-law Debbie Rea (James) of Midlothian, IL; his grandchildren, Amanda Palmer, Lucas Palmer (Rebekah), Samuel Palmer and Jessica Swinford Gorman (Harold); and his great grandchildren, Joshua, Aiden, Virgil and Billy Ray. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
