He was predeceased by : his parents, John Meketi and Elizabeth Collins Meketi; and his siblings, Laurie Meketi, Marcia Page and Dale Meketi.

He is survived by : his spouse Gerri Ann Martinolich Meketi; and his siblings, Paula Scott (Ronnie) of Paris, Kathy Pechavar (John) of Edgewater, FL, Mark Meketi of Paris, John "Jack" Meketi (Marie) of Arkansas and Tom Meketi (Sylvia) of Bosque. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.

Memorials may be made to the American Legion Post 89, 4326 E. Antioch Rd., Springville, TN 38256.
