She was predeceased by: her husband Jerry Jefferson; her parents, Norman Burgess and Betty H. Burgess; and her siblings, Linda Sorrells, Judy Taylor and Tommy Burgess.

She is survived by: her siblings, Phil Burgess (Karen), Sandy Inman (Ray) and Rita Taylor (Mike); and her sister-in-law Diana Presley. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
