He was predeceased by: his parents, John C. Smith and Mary Askew Smith; and his siblings, Glindell and Jetta. He is survived by: his wife Edith D. Smith; his children, Stephen A. Smith (Carol) of Camden and Judy C. Hicks (Randy) of Canton, GA.; his grandsons, Mike Smith (Melissa) and Scotty Smith (Heather) of Camden, TN.; his great grandchildren, Tyler Smith (Brittany), Emily, Sam, Abby and Ivy Jane Smith; and his great great grandchildren, Karter and Colin Smith.
