He was predeceased by: his wife Peggy Sue Nunnery Waters; his siblings, John Thomas Waters, Jimmy Waters, James Ralph Bain, Olivia Waters, Carolyn "Tot" Sparks, Mary Lou Sparks, Jack Sparks, Jim Sparks, Leonard Sparks and Donald Sparks; and his foster parents, Buford Sparks and Ruby Sparks.
