With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard E. Tanner (Camden, Tennessee), born in Elizabeth, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 22, 2019 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brothers, Berton C. Tanner II and Earl Howard Tanner. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Zang Tanner; his children, Caroline Tanner (Pam Zumwalt) of Berkeley, Calif, Catherine Shannon (Larry) of Goldvein and Glenn Tanner (Yvonne) of Camden; and his grandchildren, Ana Patel (Samir), Joshua (Melissa), Avram (Thora), Samuel (Aleatha), Luke Shannon, Sariah Florio (David) and Amy Tanner. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
