She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvie Turner and Willie Hazel McCollum Turner; and her husband Clarence L. Walker of Albany, Mississippi.. She is survived by: her daughters, Vicki Bean (Barry) of Gideon and Susan L. Payment (David) of Memphis, Tennessee; her grandchildren, Valerie Byrd of Memphis, Jennifer Saulters of Memphis, Dominique Starnes (Philip) of Millington, Tennessee and Blake Davis (Brandy) of Friendship, Missouri; her great grandchildren, Julia Byrd, Andrew Byrd, Mason Starnes and Teagan McElwrath; and her siblings, Joe Allen Turner (LaDonna) of Memphis, Glynn Turner (Elaine) of Charlotte and Judy Davis (David) of Heber Springs, Arkansas. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
The family request that memorials be made to Alzheimer's Association in Jean's honor.
