She was predeceased by: her parents, Ezra Hayes and Mary Elizabeth "Mollie" Hayes (McBride); her husband Lewis Powell; her stepfather Pleas Hill; and her brothers, Dillard and Johnny Hayes.
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Christine Hayes of Troy Michigan; her sibling's children, Denise Bergeron (Gil) of Clawson, Jackie Yocom (Roy) of Cable, Alison Walker (Arthur) of Athens, Dillard Hayes of Troy and Jeff Hayes (Stephanie) of Otterbach; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Kristen Urbanik (Chris) of Clawson, Lauren Bergeron of Clawson, Dillard Hayes of Clawson, Arthur Walker II of Athens, TN, Matthew Yocom (Nikole) of Cable and Finnigan Hayes of Otterbach; Noah, Lucas Urbanik of Clawson and Kaylen Yocom of Cable. She is also survived by many special friends and neighbors.
