He was predeceased by: his parent Wallace McDowell Reed; and his daughter Billie Jean. He is survived by: his parent Betty Lou Belcher; his wife Delanie Gibbs Reed of Carthage, TN.; his children, Bobbie Jean "Sissy" (Junior), George "Buddy" (Christina), Jessica (Chris), Jason (Jessica), Jennifer, Mary DeIna (Jeff), Susan (Bob) and Jon (Mandy); and his siblings, Winkie Reed (Penny), Vernon Underwood and Velma Armistead.
