She was predeceased by: her siblings, Betty Marie Whitehead Simpson, Emmalene Whitehead Simpson, Charlie Henry Whitehead, Howard Whitehead, J. B. Whitehead and John Whitehead.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Sexton Baker, Betty Sexton Brown and Patsy Sexton of South Carthage; her siblings, William Sexton (Cindy), Ellen Whitehead Lockhart of Michigan and James Whitehead of Nashville; and her sister-in-law Martha Whitehead of Cookeville. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, twenty five great-grandchildren and fifteen great-great-grandchildren.
