With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Ruth Leftwich (Carthage, Tennessee), born in Nashville, Tennessee, who passed away on May 6, 2018 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parent Ray Leftwich; and her brother John Wayne Leftwich, Sr.. She is survived by: her parent Mary Lancaster Leftwich; her daughters, Abby Shivers (Tim) of Dixon Springs, TN and Mary Elizabeth "Betsy" Pierucki (Matt) of Lebanon, TN.; her grandchildren, Taylor Shivers, Emily Shivers, Emma Pierucki and Meg Pierucki; and her nephew John Wayne Leftwich, Jr. of Smithville, TN..

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the DAR or the National Park Service.
