He was predeceased by: his parents, Caleb McGhee and Bessie Byrge McGhee; his siblings, Gerene Cross (Otis Cross, Jr.), Sue McGhee, Leon McGhee, Eugene McGhee and Aubrey McGhee; and his brother-in-law Leonard West.
He is survived by: his sister Lois West.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Fellowship Baptist Church (258 Mountain Rd, Caryville, TN 37714).
