He is survived by: his children, Natalie Hett (Brian) of Greenbrier, TN, David Keith Reed of Mims, FL and Patricia "Trish" Retz (Stan) of Mims, FL; his siblings, Wayne Reed, Timothy Reed (Jarenda), Robert Reed (Ladonna) and Ruth Reed; and his grandchildren, Latasha Smith, Joshua Birdsong (Brittney), Christopher Daniel, Matthew Daniel, Mandy Cottrill (Trenton), Brittany Reed, Jonathan Reed, Rachel Reed, Hannah Greenlay, James Aaron Slavens and Megan Conner (Chad). He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
