He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Whitefield and Virgie Bell Carter Whitefield; and his wife Judith Fay Watts Whitefield. He is survived by: his children, Lisa Savage (Terry) and Jeff Whitefield (Leigh) of Columbia, TN; his sister Linda Gossett of Lawrenceburg, TN; his grandson Jake Savage of Chapel Hill, TN; and his close friend Frances Roberts of Spring Hill, TN..
