She was predeceased by: her parents, Holder Bateman and Billie Reed Bateman; and her husband Dr. James C. Elliott, Jr.. She is survived by: her son James C. Elliott, III (Trés) of Charlotte; her grandson Richard Zolot of Charlotte; and her brother-in-law Doug S. Craig of Decatur, GA.
