He was predeceased by: his parents, John Clyde Hunter Sr. and Edna Fay Sutton Hunter. He is survived by: his wife Caryol Fae Hardy Hunter of Charlotte; his children, John Clyde Hunter III, Jessica Nicole Hunter and Dusty Ann Hunter; and his sister Marcy Ronell Wright.
