It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carol Smith (Chattanooga, Tennessee), born in Birmingham, Alabama, who passed away on January 11, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband Ned Smith, Jr.; her parents, Samuel J. Morris and Lillian Seale Morris; and her sister Jane Young. She is survived by : her sons, Scotty Smith (Heather) and Philip Smith (Allison); her grandchildren, Braxton Smith, Peyton Smith, Chandler Smith, Gracy Smith, Taylor Hutchins, Gabe McGuire and Aidan McGuire; and her great grandchildren, Bella Smith, Sarah Hutchins and Leighanna Hutchins. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 21st 2021 at 2:30 PM at the Chattanooga National Cemetery (1200 Bailey Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404).
