He was predeceased by: his parents, Romaine Coker and Gartha B. Coker; his siblings, Beulah Thomas and Albert E. Coker; and his nephew Corey B. Coker.
He is survived by: his children, Anthony G. Coker of Chattanooga, Kristi Coker-Milner (Roderick) of Chattanooga, Minister Alan V. Coker (Felicia) of Chattanooga, Derek R. Coker (Monica) of San Jose and Nicole Coker (Jorge) of Easthampton; his grandchildren, Courtney Benton, Antonio Coker, Lekeura Coker, Bria Coker, Shakara Coker, Mia Coker and Alma Avendano; his great grandchildren, Jekhia and Peighton Owens; his sister-in-law Dora Coker; his sibling's children, Albert E. Coker II and Catherine Smith of Burlington, NC; his former wife Jerry Coker-Tatum; and his friends, Mark Destler and Oscar Nance. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
