He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeff Read, Sr. and Alene Powell Read; and his sister Catherine Read Fourroux. He is survived by: his son Jeff R. Read III (Kristie); and his granddaughters, Tori of Pensacola, FL and Emma Read of Pensacola, FL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home and Cremation Services (7454 E Brainerd Rd, Chattanooga, TN 37421). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Westview Cemetery (9629 E Brainerd Rd, Chattanooga, TN 37421).
