She was predeceased by : her parents, Clarence Peter Petersen and Marie Vera Ward Petersen; her husband Robert Clifford Gehrke; and her sons, David and Alan.

She is survived by : her children, Deborah LaGoo (Kevin), Rick Gehrke (Jennifer) and Roger Gehrke (Anne); her grandchildren, Amber Smithson, Jesse LaGoo (Robin), Erik Gehrke (Johnnie) and Kati Gehrke; and her great grandchildren, Jonah, Hannah, Ezekiel, Isaac, Naomi and Rebekah.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hamilton Memorial Gardens (5351 TN-153, Hixson, TN 37343).
