It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carlos Tate (Church Hill, Tennessee), who passed away on January 7, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William "W. M." and Madgie Tate; and his siblings, William, Jr., George, Kenneth, Joe, Hattie Mae Cox, Ruth Starnes, Alberta Shelton and Bobbie Lou Britton.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda; his children, Robin VanZant (Larry) and Wayne Tate; his grandchildren, Candice VanZant Cradic (Tony), Trey VanZant (Christian), Logan, Josie Tate, Chase and Shae Tate; his great grandchildren, Carlee, Eden Cradic and Tristan VanZant; and his sisters, Carolyn Lane (Bobby) and Nancy Rhea (Mac). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Freewill Baptist Church or a charity of choice in his memory.
