He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Cleveland Hightower, Sr. and Rita Louella Keller Hightower; and his son Jeffrey Lynn Hightower. He is survived by: his wife Betty Baldwin Hightower; his daughters, Robin Hightower Parker and Rita Evans (Ronnie); his grandchildren, Noah Jeffrey, Samuel Thomas, Cristal, Melanie and Elizabeth; his great grandchildren, Laurel and Edward; and his sister JoAnne Leathers. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
