He is survived by: his wife Zinda Shelton; his children, Rebecca Barrett (Jeffery) and Perman R. Shelton, Jr. (Paula); his granddaughters, Stephanie, Josephine Barrett and Morgan Shelton Fleming (Chase); and his sisters, Shirley Wood and Lou Bean (Bob).
