He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Hood and Iona Shettler; and his brother Michael Hood. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Hood of Clarksville, TN; his son Philip Hood (Jacque) of Hattiesburg, MS; his sister Pauline Jensen of Riverside, CA; and his granddaughters, Olivia and Leyton Hood.
