Diana Lynn Hood April 25, 1947 ~ August 31, 2017 (age 70) Obituary Service Details Funeral service for Diana Lynn Hood, age 70 of Cumberland Furnace, will be held on September 2, 2017 at Louise United Methodist Church at 2:00pm. Family will receive friends from 1:00 until the hour of service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Diana passed away on Thursday, Aug 31, 2017 at her residence. She was born on April 25, 1947 in Honolulu, Hawaii to Charles Jr. and Beatrice Holub. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Clarksville. Diana was a devoted mother and grandmother, committed to her family, and a servant of others. She was a visionary, and full of life with a strength beyond measure. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by; her infant son, Timothy; and granddaughter, Sara Hood. She is survived by sons; Mark (Anita), Duane, and Johnny Hood, sisters; Barbara (Donnie) Helms, Darla (David) Thomas, brother; Chuck (Lisa) Holub; 16 grandsons, 3 granddaughters, and 8 great-grandchildren.
