He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Halliday and Gertrude Bellamy Halliday; his son Danny Halliday; and his brothers, Gordon and Samuel Halliday.
He is survived by: his wife Luree Austin Halliday; his son Larry Halliday (Pamela Kay); his siblings, Martin Halliday (Jewel) and Marie Burkhart; his nephew Marion Halliday (Lilian); and his grandchildren, Michelle Ezekiel, Dee Peters and Brandon McCurdy. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
