He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernesto Montanez and Milagros Santiago. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Tough Love, Eddie and Yusuk Montanez of Clarksville, TN; his children, Austin Montanez (Eivar) of Alabama, Dennis Montanez of Puerto Rico, Ednil Montanez and Sheida Montanez of Puerto Rico; his brothers, Luis Montanez of Florida and Ernesto Montanez of Puerto Rico; and his grandchildren, Jadyn Montanez-Lopez, Nitsua Montanez and Saile Montanez.
Due to COVID-19, a private ceremony will be held, with Ron Bailey officiating.
