With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth Laida (Clarksville, Tennessee), who passed away on November 24, 2019 at the age of 96. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Elizabeth Laida to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Dilllard O. Browning and Cornelia Smith Browning; and her husband Dr. John David Laida. She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah Sawyer (Richard), Susan Maywald (Ed), Connie Stem (Kirk) and Gayle Cates (Jeff); and her grandchildren, Elizabeth Grace Hertweck (Jerome), Marilyn Yahel (Sam), Jessie Gladden (Mat), John Paul Maywald, David Cates (Brandy) and Michael Cates. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the First Baptist Church Missions Fund, 435 Madison St., Clarksville, TN 37040.
