He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Moody and Mary Noyes Moody; his wife Joy Moody; his son Gene Moody Jr.; and his grandson Jonathon Doke.
He is survived by: his children, Vickie J Moody and Glenn W. Moody; his grandchildren, Geno Moody, Jason Moody, Jessie Moody, Sky Jarman, Thomas Busbin, Lauren Gibson, Glen Nicholas and Rachael Moody; his great grandchildren, Alexandra Doke, Thomas Witherington, Calleigh Moody, Ellianna Moody, Barrett Moody, Harlan Moody, Karnell Hughes and Dilyan Moody; his stepdaughter Susan Hembree (James); and his stepgrandsons, Mark Hembree and Mathew Hembree.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home (1209 Madison St, Clarksville, TN 37040). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the McReynolds-Nave and Larson Funeral Home (1209 Madison St, Clarksville, TN 37040).
