He was predeceased by: his parents, William R. McCoy and Claire Hoefling McCoy; his wife Donna McCoy; and his daughter Peggy McCoy. He is survived by: his children, Herbert McCoy Jr. of Clarksville, TN, Kathy Booker (Bill) of Dickson, TN and Diana McCoy of Nashville, TN. He is also survived by three grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
