He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Woodley and Gloria Easterly Woodley; and his siblings, Gerald Woodley, Harriett Johnson, Edna R. Jacks (Tina) and Ella Chigano.
He is survived by: his wife Diamande "Helen" Woodley; his children, James Rau Woodley (Tina), Johnny Woodley, Ikeko Bass (Charles) and Gloria Woodley; and his sisters, Joann Woodley Carr (Larry) and Diane Woodley. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Woodlawn Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church (2350 Woodlawn Church Rd, Woodlawn, TN 37191). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
