She was predeceased by: her parents, John Gilbert Murphy and Mary Elizabeth Weigel; her husband Edward M. Cassel, Sr.; and her brother John Murphey. She is survived by: her children, Bret A Drummond, Edward M. Cassel, Jr. (Cindy), Mark A. Cassel and Patricia Arms (Phillip); and her grandchildren, Hunter Arms, Dawson Arms (Lauryn), Bailey Cassel, Brandon Cassel, Madeline Cassel and Sara Rehm.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Linda's memory to the Montgomery County Animal Shelter.
