He was predeceased by: his father Tommy Samuel Cavanah; and his stepfather Bobby Pedigo. He is survived by: his mother Martha Sue Anderson (Bobby); his wife Iva Rose Patterson; his sister Cammy Davis (Scott); and his children, Joshua Dale Cavanah (Krystal), Melinda Sue Cavanah and Elizabeth Ann Cavanah-Porter (Mikko). He is also survived by seven grandchildren, a few Aunts, one Uncle, many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
