She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Joseph Morris and Mary Beatrice Hester Morris; her husband James Leroy "Red" Underwood; and her grandchild Jody Lee Majors. She is survived by: her children, Lawrence Underwood (Debbie), Nancy Dickson (Ronald), Gladys Maria Underwood and Rita Akin (Jerrold); and her sister Geneva Hughes. She is also survived by five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
