With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Samuel Burke of Clarksville, Tennessee, born in McKinney, Texas, who passed away on June 10, 2020 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Burke and Ada Patterson Burke; his wife Allie Sullivan Burke; his son Wendell Burke; and his siblings, Leon Burke, Otis Burke, Harriett Hardy, Lois Moore and Charlcie Quenzer.
He is survived by: his son David Burke (Jone) of Clarksville; his sister Orpha Miller of Wylie, TX; his grandsons, Michael Burke (Cari) of Troy, IL and Steven Burke (Alicia) of Rockford, IL; and his great grandchildren, Jacob Burke, Janae Burke and Jarrett Burke.
