With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sidney Brown (Clarksville, Tennessee), born in Birmingham, Alabama, who passed away on January 3, 2020 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Brown and Queen Dunn Brown; his daughter Cheryl Brown Ceasar; and his siblings, Wilson Brown and Margaret Smoot.
He is survived by: his wife Jimilla Brown; his children, Gary Michael Gipson (Bernice), William Dewayne Gipson, Ronald Rubin Brown and Sidnea Janelle Powell; and his grandchildren, Jaqueline Thomas (Nathan), Nichole Winn, Antonio Collins, Rinata Jackson (Marcus), Johnny Powell Jr., Dante Powell, Ashley Gipson, Alexis Gipson, Ayanna Butler, Ajah Butler and William Gipson Jr.. He is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.
