He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Karnes Hodges; his brothers, Bracky Hodges and Douglas Hodges, Jr.; his siblings' children, Joel Saunders and Mindy Hodges Henderson; and his brothers-in-law, Clayton Jackson, James Moore and Larry Biter.
He is survived by: his nephew Brent Saunders; his sisters, Juanita Jackson, Mary Margaret Ham (Billy), Elizabeth Moore, Brenda Biter and Alice Moul (Jeffrey); and his pet CoCo. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
