She was predeceased by: her parents, Alva Collins and Ruby Kieser Deskin; her stepfather Alton Roy Deskin; and her son Virgil Griffin. She is survived by: her children, Rhonda Staton (Robert), Lee Engel (Rose) and Roger Dale Engel; and her sisters, Lydia Diann Agerton, Carolyn Sue Sturgeon and Janet Kay Siar. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
