He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Samuel Brake, Sr. and Louise Zirbel Brake; his wife Barbara Jayne Weakley Brake; his son Keith Brake; and his siblings, Frances Elizabeth Haley, Ramona James, James Foster Brake and Chester Lewis Brake.
He is survived by: his son Barry Brake (Sheila) of Clarksville; his grandchildren, Dustin Brake (Lindsay), Brittney Schoessel (Chris), Barbara Jean Brake and Bryan Brake (Abbey); his great grandchildren, Wyatt Brake, Waylon Brake, Emerson Schoessel, Jaxson Schoessel and Raegan Schoessel; his siblings, Sam Brake (Carol), Virginia Harrison of Clarksville and Davona Nanney of Clarksville; and his sisters-in-law, Virginia Rittenberry and Linda Balthrop.
