He was predeceased by: his parents, Mason B. Whitt and Betty Potter Whitt. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Chandler Whitt of Clarksville, TN; his son William Matthew Whitt of Clarksville, TN; and his sister Cynthia Lehman (F. C.) of Clarksville, TN..
