Swafford III; her children, Sherry Smith of Cleveland, Arthur Lee Bryant of Knoxville, Timothy Ray Bryant of McMinnville and Charles "Chuck" Swafford IV (Teabra) of Cleveland; her daughter-in-law Beatrice Bryant of Murfreesboro; her sister Clara Swafford of Cleveland; her grandchildren, Patrick Thomas, Travis Warren, Kerry Rogers, Rena Rogers, Demetrius Bryant, Tachika Johnson, Lakeya Bryant, Tony Smith Jr. (Melisa), Quanza Smith, Courtney A. Swafford and Charles A. Swafford V; and her siblings-in-law, Emma Cansler, Irma Swafford, Rev. Martha Tibbs (Don), Linnda Bowerman, Edith Blair (Charles), Lomas Swafford (Edna), Lynn Swafford (Helen), MacArthur Sharp and Anthony Ware. She is also survived by Many nieces, great nieces; nephews, great nephews; other relatives, and friends.

Viewing was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Patton Funeral Home Chapel (265 Fair St SE, Cleveland, TN 37311). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church (799 Inman St E, Cleveland, TN 37311). A burial was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Chattanooga National Cemetery (1200 Bailey Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404).
