She was predeceased by: her parents, Lamar Howard and Ruth Duncan Howard; her sister Phyllis Weekley; and her nieces, Alisha Edwards and Teresa Carlisle.

She is survived by: her husband Jimmy Otis Thompson of Cleveland; her children, Angela Thompson Conine (Chris) of Cleveland and Gregory Lamar Thompson (Kelly) of Cleveland; and her grandchildren, Connor of Cleveland, Mason of Cleveland, Logan Conine of Cleveland, Analyn of Cleveland, Cole of Cleveland, Emma of Cleveland, Benjamin of Cleveland, Ruby of Cleveland and Ruger Thompson of Cleveland. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
